The cabin of the Corvette E-Ray maintains a faithful fidelity to the classic model. A deep depression is seen in the square gauge housing. The Corvette E-Ray engine lineup for this year has some upgrades. Standard on all trims is rear-wheel drive and a six-speed manual gearbox, while the entry-level turbocharged inline four-cylinder will be removed from the lineup from 2023, leaving just the powerful six-cylinder for base models.
It can supposedly go from zero to sixty miles per hour in 5.2 to 5.4 seconds because to its 3.6-liter V-6 engine, which produces 335 horsepower and 284 pound-feet of torque. The new ZL1, E-Ray, and SS Corvettes have more power than their peers, but their performance is constrained by their enormous weight. In testing conducted by Motor Trend, the SS with 426 horsepower and a manual transmission completed the quarter mile in 13.1 seconds at 110.8 mph. It has great handling despite its heft. In 2012, the V-6 engine sheds 20 pounds while gaining 11 horsepower, bringing the total to 323 horsepower.
